Words of Wisdom (Hadiths)

* "He who treads a path in search of knowledge, Allaah will direct him to tread a path from the paths of Paradise…The Angels lower their wings for the student of knowledge in approval of what he does. All in the heavens and earth and the fish in the depth of the water seek forgiveness for the scholar, and the superiority of the scholar over the worshipper is like the superiority of the full moon at night over the rest of the stars. Verily, the the scholars are the heirs to the Prophets, verily the Prophets did not bequeath deenars or dirhams. All they left behind was knowledge, so whoever takes it, has indeed acquired a huge fortune." Al- Tirmidhi, 5/49

* The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, "A servant of God will remain standing on the Day of Judgment until he is questioned about his (time on earth) and how he used it; about his knowledge and how he utilized it; about his wealth and from where he acquired it and in what (activities) he spent it; and about his body and how he used it." - Al-Tirmidhi, Hadith 148

* Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, "When one of you sleeps, the Shaitan ties three knots at the back of his head and says for each knot: have a long night, so slumber. When you wake up and mention Allah, one of these knots is untied. When you perform ablution, another knot is untied; and when you establish prayer, all of the knots are untied and you become alert and pleasant. Otherwise, you become wicked hearted and lazy." - Sahih Bukhari

* The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is reported to have said: "Whoever feeds a hungry believer, Allah will feed him with the fruits of Paradise; and whoever gives a drink to a thirsty believer, Allah will quench his thirst (on the Day of Judgment) with an exquisite drink of Paradise; and whoever clothes a believer, Allah will clothe him with a green robe of Paradise."

Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) is reported to having said that Allah (SWT) has said: “O son of Adam, so long as you call upon Me and ask of Me, I shall forgive you for what you have done, and I shall not mind. O son of Adam, were your sins to reach the clouds of the sky and were you then to ask forgiveness of Me, I would forgive you. O son of Adam, were you to come to Me with sins nearly as great as the earth and were you then to face Me, ascribing no partner to Me, I would bring you forgiveness nearly as great as its.”

* Abu Huraira (R.A) narrated that the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), Allah said, “Allah Tabaraka wa Ta’ala says I am closer to my slave than his supposition of which he keeps of me. And when he/her does Zikr of Allah, I am with him/her. If he does Zikr in his heart, I do his Zikr near MY proximity (closeness) and if he does Zikr in a gathering, I mention him in a gathering Afdhal (better) than it. (Bukhari)
